'BJP, Cong will destroy country's polity'

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">KARNAL: Haryana Chief Minister Om Prakash Chautala has apprehended that both BJP and Congress will join hands one day to destroy country''s polity. <br /><br />Chautala expressed this concern while addressing a state level function of Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar Jayanti celebrations at Kalidas Rangshala. The Chief Minister referred to statement made by Deputy Prime Minister LK Advani which were aimed at weakening the regional parties.<br /><br />Chautala felt that Advani had developed soft corner for Congress. The day may not be far off when both could become political allies. Chautala lashed out at BJP and regretted that party had not come up to the expectations of INLD. The INLD had supported BJP hoping that it would work for ameliorating lot of poor. <br /><br />But unfortunately BJP had failed to take single welfare step for betterment of lot of poor Chautala alleged. Chautala seems to have used a solemn function for setting political scores with BJP. Chautala also criticized those political leaders who were quickly shifting loyalties for furthering their political caress. <br /><br />He said such leaders were in hurry to reach Parliament by hook or by crook. He appealed to voter to identify such elements and punish them by not voting for them as their role aim was not welfare of masses but political recognition at National level. Chautala recalled the services of Dada Sahib Bhim Rao Ambedkar who he said strived for bringing unity amongst downtrodden and for their welfare. <br /><br />Chief Minister accused Congress party of using economically weaker sections of society as a vote bank for 45 long years. He felt that this support had drifted away from Congress as Congress did little for their betterment. Dr ML Ranga Health Minister and Mr Ashok Arora transport Minister Haryana also paid tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar.<br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
